We are moving!

Wednesday, August 3rd, 2011

Big news! We are joining Beenleigh Theatre Group! All rehearsals (and many of the performances) will now be at the Crete Street Theatre in Beenleigh. The theatre is part of the complex of council buildings along Crete Street that include Beenleigh Library and The Events Centre. We look forward to working with our fellow culture vultures at the theatre, including A-Chord.

For the rest of this year, rehearsals will continue to start from 7pm, with downbeat at 7:30pm. We are rehearsing downstairs in the Green Room.

Welcome to the music

Tuesday, July 13th, 2010

Beenleigh PCYC Orchestra rehearses Monday evenings and performs at various community events throughout the year.

If you are interested in participating, feel free to drop by with your instrument at 7.30pm on any Monday evening (excluding school holidays and public holidays) to share the experience. Then if you would like to become a member, it’s as simple as joining the PCYC and paying a weekly attendance fee of $4.

As a community orchestra we welcome instrumentalists of many ages and skill levels who enjoy playing a variety of musical styles. Playing in an orchestra gives a great sense of satisfaction, especially when both the music and the camaraderie are enjoyable.
